Vintage Printable

If you haven't been on the site, Vintage Printable, you have to go on and check it out. It's a really cool source for  free vintage art images. You have to hunt around a bit, but it's fun and almost feels like you're exploring artifacts of the past.  My favorite images on the site are the science text-book-looking diagrams of shells, butterflies and fish.

I first heard of it from Emily Clark's blog - she made a beautiful nautical-themed gallery wall with some prints from the site. I always love her style...


This past morning before work, I relocated the butterfly images from my hallway to my new striped bathroom (because who doesn't rearrange pictures in the morning before work... in a bathrobe?).  


 

 
I might change to these pretty, jewel-toned shell images soon though, just to mix things up!
